Here’s what to do if you’re in between payments when the funding freezes. 🥶 

1. Know your project funding source 💰️ 

  • Federal? State? Non-Profit? Knowing the paying entity helps determine which avenue of redress are available.

2. Document Everything 🧾 

  • Use email trails, signed work orders, and timestamped photos.  

 3. Escalate Strategically ♟️ 

  • Template scripts for contacting legislators: “My business is collateral damage in this bureaucratic chaos. When will [Agency] honor its commitments?” 

4. Join Forces 🤝 

  • Partner with groups like your State and National Association of Conservation Districts to amplify pressure.
